Texts of Linguistics

The linguistic derived from Latin lingua means ' language '. Linguistics is the study of the language or the science that makes the language as an object of studies. There are three terms to describe the language in French:

• Langue : A particular language.
• Langage: language in General.
• Parole: language in real forms like speech.

Linguistics frequenly called as General Linguistics. It means that the Linguistics not only examine a language alone, but rather the details of language in General, called as langage in French terminology . Linguistic experts called linguists. The father of modern Linguistics was Ferdinand de Saussure (1857-1913). His book on language entitled Course de Linguistique Generale, was first published in 1916.
